Kinze® Manufacturing will host a job placement fair and employee assistance workshops to provide career-related transitional support for employees who were impacted in its recent workforce reduction.
On July 9, Kinze will host a voluntary job placement fair at the Kinze Innovation Center, giving former employees an opportunity to interview for new positions with interested area companies. This is a private event that is only available to those employees impacted by the recent workforce reduction. Pre-registration is required to attend. To date, more than 30 companies have committed to attend the job fair and interview qualified applicants as a part of this private event.
Additionally, employee assistance workshops will be held on July 6 and July 8 at the Kinze Innovation Center in Williamsburg. The workshops will include a variety of career-related information and assistance with writing and printing resumes. Pre-registration is required to attend the workshops, which are only open to the impacted employees.
“It’s important for us to do all that we can to help our former employees,” said Jeff Vogts, director of human resources, Kinze Manufacturing. “As members of this community, we want to support our friends and neighbors and the economic growth of our community and the surrounding areas.”
