3600 Twin-Line® PLANTER

For season after season of reliable service, the Kinze® 3600 Twin-Line® Planter gives you the perfect combination of toughness and functionality. Available with conventional seed hoppers or Air Seed Delivery, this versatile 12 and 16 row planter is equipped with the features and options to meet the demands of any planting operation.


Features

  • Centrally Located Seed Hoppers
    Two centrally-mounted 40-bushel hoppers (80 total) distribute seed to individual row units using air pressure. ASD Video.
  • Frame Flexibility
    Heavy-duty wing hinges allow for 14° total flexibility.
  • Twin-Line ® Transport System
    Features a 7" x 7" stainless steel-clad center post with plastic pads - meaning no lubrication and no maintenance.
  • Precision-Cut, Plated Sprockets and Easy-Access, End-Mounted Transmissions
    Easily change rates. Shear pin protection is built into the lower shaft of the transmission.
  • Complete Electric/Hydraulic Control
    Row markers, point row clutches and the folding/unfolding functions are all controlled from the seat of your tractor.
  • Three-Section Double Frame
    A four row center section and four (12R) or six (16R) rows on each wing.
  • Rugged, Reinforced Double Toolbar
    A clean, uncluttered double toolbar adds strength and weight to the machine where it belongs, for tough planting conditions.
  • Contact Drive System
    Spring-loaded contact drive tires help to reduce residue, rock and mud problems.
  • Split Drive
    Helps maintain more consistent populations across the planter in contours.
  • Low-Profile, Triple-Folding Row Markers
    Equipped with 16" diameter solid marker blades. Keeps transportation heights under 11 feet.
  • Transport Latch Post
    Features a spring-loaded safety latch which automatically locks the toolbar in-line when folding for transport.
  • Hydraulically Operated, Over-Center Wing Locks
    Allow the wings to flex while planting and lock rigid for transport.
  • Excellent Stability and Load Carrying Capacity
    Four custom-molded, radial transport tires, carry the planter in transport and in the field.
  • INTEGRA by Ag Leader® or Kinze Cobalt® Ready
    For added control and monitoring.

  • Hydraulic Weight Transfer Package
    Maintains even pressure along the length of the toolbar and prevents the wings from rising out of the ground. Standard on ASD model, optional on the conventional model.
  • Mechanical Finger and Brush Meters
    Proven mechanical metering for the most accurate and dependable seed spacing.
  • EdgeVac ®
    Vacuum seed metering for excellent seed spacing and population control.
  • Quick-Adjustable Down-Force Springs
    Provides four positions of down pressure adjustment.

    Two-piece, high-strength, nylon-reinforced plastic closing wheels for use in any tillage situation.

  • Cast Iron Closing Wheels
    Recommended for tougher no-till applications.
  • Pneumatic Down Pressure Package
    Allows you to vary down pressure on-the-go as field conditions change.
  • KPM III Seed Monitor
    A single LCD monitor to display seed count and alphanumeric planting data.
  • Kinze Cobalt® Display Package
    Available with manual swath control, variable-rate seed control, and integrates with radar ground speed sensors.
  • INTEGRA by Ag Leader® Display Package
    Reduce input costs and increase yield potential. A large, full-color 12.1" HD touchscreen display is easy to read and offers powerful, year-round precision farming tools.

  • Air Compressor Package (Required with Pneumatic Down-Pressure Package)
    A planter-mounted 12VDC air compressor, with 3 gallon capactiy air tank, supplies air for the pneumatic down pressure system.
  • Half Rate (2 to 1) Drive Reduction Packages
    Reduces driveline speed (and application rates) to approximately 50% of standard.
  • Piston Pump Mount and Drive Packages (less pump)

    Piston Pump and flow divider for precise distribution of liquid fertilizer to all rows.

  • PTO Pump Package and Oil Cooler
    Accommodates tractors with less than the required hydraulic output necessary to operate the hydraulic-driven vacuum fan and other planter hydraulic requirements.
  • Mount/Hose Package, PTO Pump
    Includes mounting brackets and hardware, hoses and components specific to planter model/size.

    Lets you tow a 3- or 4-wheel trailer behind 3500, 3600, 3700 and 3800 models.

  • Auxiliary Work Light Packages
    Includes two 50 watt, 3" x 5" halogen flood lamps with brackets and hardware to mount lights at top of lift cylinder.
  • Rock Guard Packages (transport wheel arms)
    Shields transport tires from rocks.
  • 2-Point Hitch

    Converts planter from drawn to semi-mounted.

  • Row Unit Extension Bracket Packages (to accommodate Coulter Mounted Residue Wheel Attachments)
    Extends row unit 4" rearward to allow clearance between residue wheels and wheel arms.
  • Even-Row Push Row Unit Packages
    For use in adding an Interplant® Push Row Unit push row unit to left hand end of planter.
  • Interplant® Air Clutches
    Allows Interplant® row sections to be shut off manually, or automatically from a GPS map.
  • Dry Fertilizer Package
    Big 550 lb. capacity hopper handle dry fertilizer applications on 4 row to 16 row planters. Not available on ASD models.
  • Double Disc Fertilizer Opener Packages
    For conventional tillage.
  • Notched Single Disc Fertilizer Opener Packages
    For mulch-till or moderate no-till systems.

  • Low Rate Check Valve Packages
    Check valves help equalize row-to-row liquid fertilizer delivery at low rate settings and reduce dribbling from openers on turns.
