3800 Front Folding Planter

As farming operations grow, the demand for larger planter sizes grows. The 3800 plants 24 rows at a time with the same accuracy and maneuverability as you might expect from a much smaller planter. Row units are divided into three sections to flex with the terrain, and to fold into a compact unit for transport. Plus, the dedicated transport axle makes sure you get in and out of your fields easily. Available with either conventional seed hoppers or bulk fill.
Bulk Fill with Centrally-Located Seed Hoppers
Kinze’s patented Air Seed Delivery (ASD) bulk fill system uses two 55-bushel, centrally mounted seed hoppers for better weight distribution along the width of the planter.
Air-Actuated, Single-Row Clutches
Enables row sections to be shut off manually, or automatically from a GPS map.
Hydraulic Drive
Dual motor, variable-rate hydraulic driveline to adjust planting rates from the tractor seat or by GPS map.
12 VDC Air Compressor
Planter-mounted air compressor with integral 3-gallon air tank.
Complete Electric/Hydraulic Control
Row markers, point-row clutches and the folding/unfolding functions are all controlled from the seat of your tractor.
Three-Section Frame
The 3800 features 10° of up-and-down flex, allowing the frame to flex naturally in fields with rolling terrain and terraces.
