The Kinze Air Seed Delivery (ASD) Bulk Fill System
The Kinze ASD System is a large-capacity, bulk-fill alternative to individual planter boxes designed to be simple and dependable in its operation. It features two large, centrally mounted seed hoppers, each holding up to 55 bushels of seed on 3660, 3700 and 3800 models— or two 40 bushel hoppers on 3600 ASD models.
From the hoppers, seed drops into the “entrainer,” where the seed is mixed with moving air. The ASD System is pressurized by a single blower fan, which moves the seed directly to each row unit on a gentle stream of air. One big advantage to the Kinze ASD System is that the airflow never stops, which prevents seed tubes from plugging.
Another advantage is that the blower fan is the only moving part on the entire ASD System, which reduces maintenance.
And the up to 110-bushel capacity makes the ASD System one of the largest standard-capacity bulk-fill in the industry. Which means you spend less time filling planter boxes, and more time actually planting.
Also available as an attachment on the ASD bulk fill system (with the INTEGRA by Ag Leader® Display only) is an ASD scale package that allows you to input the number of seeds per pound, along with population data, so you can easily see the number of acres to empty each hopper and an overall total.
ASD Scale Package Option
Improve planting efficiency and seed management by adding the Digi-Star scale to your ASD System. This scale integrates with the INTEGRA by Ag Leader® Display system, allowing you to input the number of seeds per pound, as well as seed population data, so you can easily see the number of acres to empty in each hopper, plus an overall total. Features include:
- Three 1,500-pound capacity Digi-Star load cells per tank (six total)
- Platform-mounted display installed near the planter’s ASD tanks for easy use when loading tanks
